Peace Pilgrim Statue Dedication Ceremony

New Sculpture of Peace Pilgrim

November 19, 2000 - United Nations University for Peace

Fernando Calvo's new statue of Peace Pilgrim was dedicated at the United Nations University of Peace in Colon, Costa Rica. An international assembly of friends, family, university representatives, and Costa Rican citizens gathered for the dedication ceremony.  The keynote address at the dedication ceremony was given by Rodrigo Carrazo former President of Costa Rica.
