October 20, 2005 - Our Somerset, California center was sold in the spring of 2005. We are currently in the process of relocating our work to severl new locations. We expect to be resettled by the end of 2005. News will be posted on the website and in our newsletters. Visit our contact page for up to date information.

Our Former Center

In April 2001 Friends of Peace Pilgrim moved from its longtime home in Hemet, California to a new location in Somerset, California.  Somerset is a rural community about 70 miles east of Sacramento and 10 miles south of Placerville in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains.  The new center sits on an open hillside with views across the beautiful valley below.

On Earth Day (April 22, 2001) we planted a peace pole to honor our new location and reaffirm our dedication to the work Peace Pilgrim began in 1953 and so joyously exemplified for 28 years.
